Each studio has a small double bed with storage, a pedestal with drawers, wardrobe with hanging space and shelving, work desk and chair, and notice board. The bedding pack includes 2 pillows, 2 pillow cases, a duvet (10.5 tog), a duvet cover and a fitted bed sheet. Students must bring their own towels.

The en-suite bathroom has a shower, toilet and washbasin.

Students are responsible for cleaning their rooms and washing their own bed linen during their stay. Residents purchase their own cleaning supplies. Vacuum cleaners can be requested at reception. There is a laundry room for students’ use (small fee payable). Room cleaning services can be provided by the residence at an additional cost. This can be booked and paid for after arrival directly with the cleaning company. Cleaning packages are available for additional cost.

The kitchen area has a two-ring electric hob, oven/microwave and fridge/freezer, a kettle, sink, storage space, and small table with 2 chairs. The kitchen pack includes a dinner plate, a side plate, a cereal bowl, a knife, a fork, a table spoon, a teaspoon, a mug, a large glass, a frying pan, a saucepan, a chopping board, a pair scissors, a utility knife, a can opener, a bottle opener, and a 5-piece kitchen utensil set.

Wi-Fi internet connection is available in all rooms and throughout residence. Cable connection in rooms (cable not provided).

Cinema, games room, lounge area, gym, Fitness on Demand, laundry, dining room and kitchen, secure parking for bicycles, first-floor outdoor courtyard area, 24-hour security. Students have a key card for studios – lost cards incur a fee to replace.

Service Fee: £190, 1 payment only. Covers kitchen and linen packs and end of stay cleaning.

Damage: Students must pay for any damage to their room. On arrival at the residence the student will be asked to sign an inventory form indicating any existing damage to the room. It is important that you complete this inventory at the start of your stay.

Utilities: The accommodation fee includes electricity, gas and water. Remember you may need a suitable adaptor for your plug to be able to use the power sockets in the UK.

Visitors/guests:: Students may have daytime visitors. Overnight guests are also permitted by arrangement with the residence. All guests must bring photo ID.

Noise/restrictions: Students are requested to keep noise levels to a minimum especially after 10pm. Smoking/vaping is strictly forbidden inside the building.

Notice/Cancellation:
Before Arrival: 4 weeks’ notice to cancel or shorten a stay; otherwise 4 weeks’ rent payable as cancellation fee.
After Arrival: No refund is given if a stay is shortened or cancelled. The Frances King cancellation fee of £75 is also payable in case of cancellation after arrival.
