Good homes with a high standard of cooking conveniently located for our school. Staying with a homestay is the best way to learn about Irish life and culture and the opportunity for you and your family to practise your English. Our homestays are half-board and offer breakfast and dinner every day and lunch in the weekend.

Nearest Bus/Train

Our homestay accommodation is located in good areas near train stations or bus routes.

Travel Time/Cost

Located in residential areas with a travel time of approximately 20-50 minutes to the school.
Leap card approximatively: €40 per week.

Room

Single, twin, double or triple rooms are available. A clean and comfortable room with space for your clothes.

Bathroom

Shared with the family / other students.
Private bathroom available for those on the Family Programme: for a weekly supplement: €65 / week / room (subject to availability).

Laundry & Cleaning

Towels and bedding are provided and are washed once a week. Your host will do one load of light washing a week or alternatively you will have access to laundry facilities.

Kitchen Facilities

No use of kitchen.
Half-board: breakfast and dinner daily. Lunch is also provided at the weekend and a packed lunch on other days for those on the Teenager Programme.
Evening meals will normally be eaten with everyone in the household, although you may have to help yourself to breakfast. If you have any special dietary requests, please tell us on your application form so that we can find a host to cater for you. A supplement of €55/week will be charged for gluten-free or other diets that require specialist food items to be purchased.

Internet Access

Internet access is possible in most homestays. Please ask at time of booking.

Other Facilities

Private bathroom available at extra charge for those on the Family Programme: €65 / week / room (subject to availability).

Extra Information

Other Students: There is normally a maximum of 3 students per host family.
Arrival: Accommodation is booked from Saturday to Saturday or Sunday to Sunday. It is usually possible to arrive at your accommodation between 07.00 and 22.00. If you need to arrive outside of these hours, please check with us before making travel arrangements.
Extra nights: Subject to availability at 1/7th of weekly fee.
Special diets: €55 / week / person (subject to availability).
Notice/Cancellation:
Before Arrival: 1 week’s notice to cancel or shorten a stay; otherwise 1 week’s rent payable as cancellation fee.
After Arrival: 1 week's notice to cancel or shorten a stay; otherwise 1 week's rent payable as cancellation fee. The Frances King cancellation fee of €75 is also payable in case of cancellation after arrival.
