Become a Homestay

Being a Homestay host provides a valuable cultural and personal experience for both hosts and our students, many of whom go on to become life long friends. We look for a friendly home environment where students can practise their English and experience English life.

London preferred locations: Zones 1, 2 or 3 ONLY within easy reach of an underground station or local transport.

Frances King Homestay hosts…

  • Welcome our students and make them feel at home
  • Respect different cultural backgrounds
  • Encourage our students to speak English
  • Provide a clean and comfortable room with a desk for private study
  • Clean students’ rooms and provide a change of bed linen weekly
  • Do their laundry or allow them to use the home’s laundry facilities
  • Provide a balanced diet if they choose to take meals
  • Provide a house key for the student
