Travel Time/Cost

Kensington school: About 25 minutes to Frances King by underground.
From March 2nd, 2025:
- Unlimited (Capped) Pay as You Go travel in zones 1&2: £8.90 per day
- 7 day Travelcard zones 1&2: £44.70 per week

Room

Spacious rooms with ensuite bathroom. The rooms are arranged in flats of 8 and include: a bed, a wardrobe, a big desk, double glazed windows.

Bathroom

Private ensuite bathroom: shower room, washbasin and WC.
Towels are not provided, you need to bring your own.

Laundry & Cleaning

Students are responsible for cleaning their room and the shared kitchen.
There is a laundry room on site with touch screen and contactless payment: £XX per wash and £XX per drier load (guide price).
The Bedding Pack includes:
1. 1 Duvet, 2 Pillows
2. 1 Duvet Cover, 2 Pillow Covers, 1 Bed Sheet.

Kitchen Facilities

Large shared kitchens with big dining table/chairs and L shaped sofa. Each student gets 2 cupboards and another one with drawers. 2 large fridges/freezers per kitchen.
Kitchen pack is included.

Free high speed Wi-Fi.

Extra Information

Accommodation Booking Fee: £50, 1 payment only.

Damage: Students must pay for any damage to their room.

Utilities: The accommodation fee includes electricity, gas and water. Remember you may need a suitable adaptor for your plug to be able to use the power sockets in the UK.

Check-in from 3pm; Check-out 10am.

Visitors/guests: By arrangement with the Residence Manager.

Noise/restrictions: Students are requested to keep noise levels to a minimum especially after 10 pm. Smoking/vaping is strictly forbidden inside the building.

Notice/Cancellation:
Before Arrival: 2 weeks’ notice to cancel or shorten a stay; otherwise 2 weeks’ rent payable as cancellation fee.
After Arrival: 4 weeks’ notice to cancel or shorten a stay; otherwise 4 weeks’ rent payable as cancellation fee. The Frances King cancellation fee of £75 is also payable in case of cancellation after arrival.
